Front Engine RWD Slow Steering Fix
Note: a slow or unresponsive steering feel in FR cars can make turn-in sluggish, reduce agility, and make the car harder to control during quick direction changes.
Common in:
-
long wheel base FR cars; BMW M5, Dodge Challenger
-
classic JDM cars with soft stock set ups: Nissan 240SX, Supra, AE86
-
Muscle cars with stock soft rear ARB: Dodge Charger, Mustang GT

Fixes

-
increase front negative camber (maximizes front grip, allowing sharper turn-in)
-
stiffen front springs (reduces weight transfer lag and improves front-end response)
-
increase front damper rebound (helps the front settle quicker after turn-in)
-
stiffen rear ARB (increases rear rotation, making the car feel sharper)
-
reduce front aero (prevents excessive steering resistance at high speeds)
-
increase rear aero (balances the car, reducing understeer)
