Front Engine FWD Understeer Fix
Note: Understeer is the most common handling issue in FF cars, where the front wheels handle both steering and power delivery. Understeer happens when the front tires lose grip before the rear tires, causing the car to push wide and resist turning. Common in Honda Civic Type R, VW Golf GTI, Ford Focus RS.

Fixes

-
soften front springs (allows more weight transfer for grip)
-
soften front damper rebound (helps the front absorb cornering loads)
-
soften front damper compression (to allow the tire to plant itself on the road surface and maintain grip. Also allows faster movement of weight forward so speeds up the car's rotation into the corner)
-
stiffen rear ARB (encourages the rear to rotate into corners)
-
stiffen rear springs slightly (helps the car pivot better)
-
increase front negative camber (increases grip while cornering)
-
increase rear negative camber with aim of balancing with front to keep rear stable while front rotates
-
reduce front aero
-
increase rear aero (encourages rotation)
-
small rear brake bias shift if necessary (enough to encourage rotation but not instability)
